Chi Kung (Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong)

  • What is Chi Kung?
Chi Kung (Qi Gong) is an ancient Oriental Healing Art which is uplifting, easy to learn and suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.

    What does "Chi" mean?
Chi is the Chinese name for the animating life force energy of the body which gives us the power to walk, talk and think. Chi permeates everything, it is in us and around us. Chi Kung means 'Energy Work'.

How can Chi Kung help me?
IQi Gong) #02 am teaching Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong, Qi Gong and the '8 Pieces of Silk Brocade' with the aim to return the practitioner to be in flow, happy and relaxed. While you do the movements, your body relaxes, which allows chi to circulate freely through your body, improving circulation of blood and lymph. Free circulating chi enables the release of blockages held in the body, which might otherwise lead to disease, headaches, backache, stomach/digestive disorders, etc. On another level, free-flowing chi will help to expel negative feelings like fear, anger or anxiety.

  • This ancient Oriental Healing Art balances mind, body and soul. The benefits of regular practice include:

    • Better circulation

    • Improved breathing

    • Increased energy

    • Lowered blood pressure

    • Strengthened immune system

    • Improved concentration

    • Stress reduction & self awareness

    • Physical strength & flexibility

Tina Boegner teaches Chi Kung on Thursdays 18:15 - 19:15. Please contact Tina by text or phone on 07951 105 915 if you are dropping in or coming for the first time.
