Grinberg Method

The Grinberg method is a practice that recognises the person we are today as someone who has been shaped by their past experiences.  The feet we stand on have walked with us through life, and can show us a clear picture of this journey.  As human beings, we have an enormous capacity for learning and healing, if only we could take the time to stop, rest, and pay attention.

The Grinberg method is a very physical practice that is taught through a combination of foot analysis, muscle manipulation, breath work, and speech. It is a systematic process and over time, clients may find that they experience some of the following outcomes:

  • Learning to recognise the ways in which we limit ourselves and choosing how we want to be

  • Reducing chronic symptoms

  • Breaking through barriers

  • Renewing ourselves; liberating ‘energy that is ‘stuck', increased vitality

  • Not allowing ourselves to be limited by fear

  • A calmer mind

  • Learning to be our own ‘healers' by raising our level of self-awareness, allowing the body to rest and find it's own equilibrium

By paying attention to how we really are, we start to recognize the patterns that have become ‘old friends/(enemies?).  Once we attain that level of awareness, we can choose to take control of our whole selves – mind, body, emotions – the ‘whole me'. Understanding how we truly walk through life, we can choose to let go of old patterns and reclaim the energy that was tied up in maintaining them. Liberating ourselves to experience life in all of its diversity. Being in control of rather than controlled by our lives.
